This is where it all started. At age 15, my directing debut and first serious video is submitted to a Penny Skateboards competition. Later that year I was called by an executive to personally inform me that I had been 1 of 10 selected for the Penny Skateboards ‘Best Of The Best’, an international competition. This early success helps me to realise my true creative passion for film. This is the day that I realised why.

My entry in the Penny Skateboards "$5000 Cash Grab" world wide competition -  to create a cool skateboarding video  My entry was recognised as one of the TOP TEN VIDEOS from the entire world entries by the event organisers and I was selected to enter the second competition.

The top 10 videos that were chosen from the all the worldwide entries - were given a second chance to make a Penny Skateboarding video, I was one of them. In this competition I just missed out on 3rd place, but had the most social media LIKES votes of all the entries.

Following on from my successful " Headland Voyager "  & "Best of the Best" videos I was asked to skate in the following video for Penny Skateboards Australia. It was a real thrill and a unquie experience to be a part of this professional production. Interacting with the creative director, discussing the action and type of shots with the cameraman, and doing my best skating on que, this marketing video was a very enjoyable and highly rewarding experience.
